  • Interfaces, pattern formation, non-equilibrium dynamics, statistical physics, specific problems include: models of biological evolution, fracture, dendritic solidification, Belousov-Zhabatinskii spirals, viscous fingering, kinetic roughening, strain-induced roughening, molecular beam epitaxy films.
